The Intangible Dimension

Reality exists in two dimensions:
The Tangible Dimension and...

Everything that matters is intangible!

The tangible world is accessed through the five senses and we perceive the space around us in 3 dimensions: height, width, and depth. There is, however, a fourth dimension of perception. That dimension is intangible with regard to our standard five senses of touch, sight, hearing, taste, and smell. We are however, able to sense that dimension. Our thoughts, our dreams, our memories, our imagination, our emotions, and our decisions are all examples of intangible phenomena that we are able to sense. This means that we have a mechanism by which we sense the intangible. In religion it is referred to as the soul. In standard communication, it is referred to as the mind. Both terms refer to our intangible self. We are truly intangible beings represented by a physical body in the present. We tend to think of ourselves strictly in terms of our physical, tangible bodies as opposed to a collection of intangible phenomena such as memories, thoughts, opinions, perceptions, and emotions. If we think of ourselves in those terms, we begin to see ourselves very differently. And if we focus more on those components of our existence rather than the physical, life, and our perception of it, can become quite different.
